How is the quote price worked out?
All quotes are priced “per cubic metre”. Each state / region has a different charge, depending on where you are currently and where you are going. The more you have, the more it costs – the less you have, the less it costs. Once an invoice has been paid however, this is then considered the minimum billable amount. Same is said for once goods have been collected – if you have less goods than what you have paid for then the original invoice will stand. If you have additional goods on top of what has been paid for then a pro rata rate will apply to each cubic metre additional.
How much do you charge?

It depends. We charge according to your distance and number of services you are taking from us, such as how many items you need us to pack, the size of your storage, size of the transporting truck you will need, the distance we have to cover etc. You can calculate all these

What if I add stuff to my list?
If you add items / furniture pieces to your consignment / inventory list then the price will increase accordingly on a “pro rata” rate.
What if I take things off my list?
If you remove items / furniture pieces from your consignment / inventory list then the price will decrease accordingly on a “pro rata” rate.
How many guys come do the pickup?
It is standard for a 2-person team to be present for both the collection of your goods as well as the delivery. There are exceptions to the rule where, depending on the consignment size, occasionally 1 man will be able to take care of the collection or delivery. Similarly, if the consignment contains larger, bulkier items then it is not unusual for us to allocate an extra person(s) to the uplift / delivery. If this is a specific request then this may incur additional charges.
How are my goods transported?

INTERSTATE – We move all freight by train, using the rail service. This is the most cost and time efficient way of moving goods across Australia.

REGIONAL/LOCAL – All freight is moved on road in our trucks.

Do you provide packing support?
Yes, we provide packing support for all types of household, office items, no matter how big or small.
Do I need to put everything into boxes?
No, not everything has to go into boxes. Of course, the majority of the contents of your cupboards & drawers will go into boxes but there are always loose items (ie. mops, buckets, brooms etc) that can be loaded “as is”.
What about TV’s?
We strongly suggest transporting TVs in specific TV boxes for any move.
Do I need to cover everything before it’s loaded?
No, we will be responsible for the protection / covering of your furniture pieces as the goods are removed from the house and loaded into the container. There are extra measures that can be taken that can be discussed with your Sales Team representative.
How long does it take for my stuff to arrive?
Timeframes change all the time. This all depends on where you are currently located and where you are currently going. The standard timeframe between uplift & delivery for metropolitan areas is around 2 weeks. Any areas out-with the metro area will attract varying timeframes, depending on how far you are from the central area.
What time does the truck to pick up my stuff?
We get asked this question A LOT! Arrival times are confirmed the day PRIOR to the collection / delivery of goods. This phone call does not take place until AFTER 4.00pm in the afternoon.
What if something is damaged while it’s being moved?

You will see in our “Crusader Removals Quote” email that there is a link to obtain an insurance quote. This link is also incorporated into our Invoice email and should also be verbally discussed with our Sales Team at the time of discussing the quote & making the booking. Can I access my belongings from the store?
